Bir arkadaşım geldi cenazemi kaldırmaya
Uzun uzun uğraştı, toprağımı örtmeye
Öldüğümü geç haber alanlar ya cenaze ortasında geldiler ya da cenaze kalktıktan sonra
Öldüğümden haberi olmayan başka bir arkadaşım da beni düşündü o gün

Tıpkı doğduğum günde olduğu gibi
Soğuk havaların kendini gösterdiği kasım ayındaydık…

Yesterday I died
A friend came to help with my funeral
She worked long  and hard , covering me with dirt
Those who heard late that I died either came at the middle of the funeral or just after it finished
Another friend who hadn’t heard of my death thought of me that day

It was just like the day I was born
