Fotoğraf ilgimi besleyen Baker okumalarımdan kazandığım kavramları Θ toparlama isteğimi canlandıran, 2012 yılı “Ulus Baker buluşması” soğukların kendini göstermeye başladığı sonbahardan kışa döndüğümüz 10-11.Kasım.2012 tarihlerinde gerçekleşti.
Baker’in ruhu oralarda mıydı bilinmez ama buluşmanın yaprakların daha çok dökülmeye başladığı o soğuk cumartesiye denk gelmesi Baker’in erken ölümünün sebep olduğu hüznü Θ  arttırıyordu.

Just as Autumn turned to Winter and the cold weather began to show itself on the 10th and 11th of November, the 2012 “Ulus Baker’s Gathering”was held for 2 days with a packed program.  No one can know whether or not Baker’s soul was there but the fact of the meetıng happenıng at the same tıme as so many leaves began to fall on that cold Saturday increased the sadness of Bakeris sudden death. For a while I have been chasing after “Baker’s approach to the concept of the photograph.” This meeting awakened again in me the desire to gather these fragments and, on the last day of the meeting, on that gloomy Sunday night, I began to solve the riddle. I will make a personal and modest attempt to concentrate on the full body of his work, though I know I could never finish this work in my lifetime.
