Bu fotoğraflar 2009-2010 yıllarında, Ankara metrosunda kaydedildi. Bir gün, metro ve yolcuları arasındaki ilişkiye daha yakından dahil olabilmek için metro ve yolcularını kaydetmeye karar verdim. Farklı mevsim ve saatlerde gerçekleştirdiğim bu kayıtlarda kimi zaman kendi bakışımdan sıyrılıp, çevreyi günlük bir yolcu gözüyle görmeye çalıştım. Elbette fazlası var ama bir an önce sözü fotoğraflara bırakmak istiyorum. Ankara Subway
All these photographs have been taken in the Ankara Subway* in 2009 and 2010. One day I wanted to get a closer view of the relationship between the subway and its passengers and so I decided to record this relationship. In these photographs, taken in different seasons and times of the day, I tried to separate myself from my own perspective and look through the eyes of a regular daily passenger. There is, of course, much more to say but I want to leave the speaking to the photographs; so here is the first series…

*Ankara subway; In Ankara there are two subway systems, the “Ankaray” and the “Metro” carrying passengers to two different regions of Ankara.
